My daughter has been taking ballet lessons for several months now with Yukiko. For winter break recently, we also enrolled her in their winter ballet camp and we are so grateful and happy that we did. She had the most amazing 2 days with Yukiko and the rest of the children. The camp was focused not just on ballet, but incorporated other types of dance, including an African dance instruction as well as many other projects and activities, including arts and crafts and magic. I can honestly say that I have never seen her so happy and enthusiastic about telling me about her day, all the things she learned and all the activities that she did. Yukiko's classes and her camp are top notch and it’s clear that she puts a great deal of care and thought into each day. Yukiko really goes out of her way to make her students feel welcomed, safe and supported, despite there sometimes being a language barrier with Japanese instruction. She also follows up with pictures/videos and emails explaining the day that are specifically tailored to your child. Our daughter has really thrived and increased her curiosity about dance and Japanese language and culture in just a few short months.
